Faithfulness
Unseen and Invisible
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the Spirit.
Here, Paul is citing
John
4:23 But the hour cometh, and
now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit
and
in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship
him.
And again in:
John 4:24 God
is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
Spirit and in truth.
Christ is declaring the same thing here.
Matthew 22:35-40 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, (A member of one of the rabbinical schools, the
heads of which sat in the seats of the Sanhedrin) asked him a question, tempting him, (Seeking if he could
stumble Christ, so as to find fault in Him so that he would
have to bow to one of their rabbis doctrines and traditions) and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in
the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself. On these two commandments hang (Are invisibly suspended, are secretly upheld) all the law and the prophets. (Which are visible
or made manifest by that which is invisible, which under girds,
and upholds)
We all know to some degree that Christ is quoting from the
law of Moses, but most are not aware of the vast body of scripture
verses that God repeats and repeats these words, so that in
the law of Moses this is the most repeated commandment.
And so we come to what Christ is citing in John 4:23 and 4:24.
Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will (A future event) circumcise thine (Personally and individually) heart, and (Personally and individually in) the heart of (Those that are) thy seed, (So that you and those of your seed that be personally and
individually entered into this circumcision of heart – the
cutting away of the evil and corruption of your hearts)
to (Might
indeed) love the
LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul,
(This is worship in Spirit and in truth) that thou mayest live. (While yet in the land of the shadow of darkness)
The words of Christ in Matthew 22:35-40 are repeated in the
book of Hebrews.
Hebrews
11:1 Now faith (Faithfulness) is the substance (English Sub – underneath, Stance upholds, The Greek
here is of the foundation or underground base of a pillar,
that which is invisible or unseen that under girds or upholds) of (Those) things hoped
for, (Our true inheritance, that which we seek and lay hold upon
God for. [Which must be received individually and personally
apart from our coming to Christ, apart from water baptism,
apart from the baptism of the Holy Spirit] of our being conformed
into His image and His likeness that we might indeed become
the bride of Christ and receiving [Individually and personally]
His adornment. His
bracelets His rings and His signet -- which upon receipt are) the evidence (The manifestation of the power of God as written in the law
and the prophets as a witness or an attestation of those [the
few out of the many] that truly are His bride.)
of things not seen. (Of those which in Spirit and truth invisibly and in hiding under gird and uphold, drawing no
attention to themselves as the nameless selfless servant of
Abraham do so by true
faithfulness [Which is true
worship or worshipping God in Spirit and
in truth] – which is to love
God from the heart, mind, soul and strength, and the out pouring
of that same love upon your neighbor as well.)
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, (Faithfulness) hope, (Our true inheritance, that which we seek and lay hold upon
God for.) love,
(Matthew 22:35-40) these three; but the greatest of these is love. (Matthew 22:35-40)
Romans 5:2 By
whom also we have access by faith (Faithfulness unto Christ and Christ alone, as His betrothed,
This is the one and only key to us standing before the straight
and narrow gate that you might be translated through it into
personal sanctification and personal justification and thereafter
walk in the straight and narrow way even as the holy men and
prophets of scripture did so, and Paul and the Apostles did
so.) into this grace
(The word in the
Greek here, Charis, is the same as the word Charisma that is used for the gifts of the Spirit) wherein we (Upon receipt) stand, (As His bride indeed) and rejoice in hope (Our, this our true inheritance, that which we seek and lay
hold upon God for.)
of the glory of God.
(Of having become
His Indeed, and having received Individually
and personally His glorious adornment. His bracelets, His rings, and His signet upon us.)
2 Corinthians 10:15 Not boasting of things without (Outside of, or apart from) our measure, (The portion or lot Christ has given unto us) that is, (Our partaking of others lots and portions) of other men's labours; but
having hope, (Our, this our true inheritance, that which we seek and lay
hold upon God for.)
when your faith (Faithfulness) is increased, that (By the measure of our faithfulness unto Christ
and Christ alone to whom we are betrothed) we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly.
(This abundance of rule is by our invisibly and in hiding under
gird and uphold, drawing no attention to themselves in faithfulness
or our worshipping in Spirit and in truth)
Here, Paul is citing Christ and identifying for us what Christ
was speaking of when He said:
Luke
6:38 Give,
and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down,
and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into
your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal
it shall be measured to you again.
Galatians 5:5 For
we through the Spirit (Worship of Spirit and truth) wait for
the hope (Our, this our true inheritance, that which we seek and lay hold
upon God for.) of
righteousness (Entering into this
personal justification and personal sanctification) by faith (Faithfulness unto Christ and Christ alone, as His betrothed).
1 Thessalonians 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, (Faithfulness) and labour of love, (Invisibly and in hiding under girding and upholding,
drawing no attention to themselves our faithfulness or our
worshipping in Spirit and in truth)
and patience of hope (Of our entering into this personal justification and personal
sanctification, of our receiving of this our true inheritance,
that which we seek as His betrothed and lay hold upon Christ
to receive.) in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our
Father;
Here
now in Philippians, the underlying, unseen and hidden thought
Paul is writing about is faithfulness, the faithfulness of
a woman betrothed, the faithfulness of a bride and a wife
are to so walk, and to so exhibit, so as to be the glory of
their earthly husbands. He Paul speaks of this as a man, as the head
of a household, as a priest unto God. Men
need to so walk with Christ and women need to so walk with
their husbands.
Philippians
3:8-12 Yea doubtless, and I count
all things (My earthly natural gifts and talents which I used to obey
and excel in the doctrines and traditions of the rabbis as
part of the Klessia) but loss
(Worthless,
as nothing, as unacceptable before God)
for (Which was all false
and stood in the place of)
the (True) excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:
(And
thus blinded me)
for whom I have (Gladly) suffered (Have been desirous of) the loss of all things, (The stripping away of my earthly natural talents which I used
to obey and excel in the doctrines and traditions of the rabbis
as part of the Klesia)
and do count them (All that Christ
has stripped away and removed from me of these things) but dung, that I may (Have)
win (Gained,) Christ, (Have become His bride Indeed) And be found in him, (That I might be found with his garment cast
over me as Ruth) not
having (Wearing) mine own righteousness, which is of the law, (Of sin and death
of the doctrines and traditions of the rabbis of the Klesia) but that which is through the faith (Faithfulness which
I now have as a bride obtained) of
Christ, the righteousness (Personal justification and personal sanctification) which is (Obtained) of God
by faith (The
faithful, those who walk in faithfulness, those that worship
in Spirit and truth fulfilling the great Commandment and the
Second as the nameless, selfless servant.)
That I may know him, (This knowing is
an intimate knowing between a bride and bridegroom) and (be made also a partaker of) the power of his resurrection, and (Partake as His bride
and His wife of) the
fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable (To follow him even) unto His death; If by any means I might attain unto the
resurrection (Greek the Out resurrection) of (From among) the
dead. (Of
the Klesia – This is the point of entering in to the chamber
of the full inheritance of Christ as His bride. This
is the entering into the Holy of Holies)
Not as though I had already attained, (With even all the works I have done as an Apostles
of Christ, I have not entered into this Holy of Holies) either were already (Made) perfect: (Entering into personal justification and personal sanctification
through faithfulness – did not bring Paul or even the Apostle
John into as state of
sinless perfection,) but I (Now)
follow after (Christ
in the traditional manner of a bride following behind her
husband.), if (I
do so faithfully for the rest of my allotted time here) that I may (I will assuredly) apprehend (Become that virtuous woman of proverbs and Ruth as His bride)
that for which also I am apprehended (That Christ apprehended me for when he placed His garment
upon me, And His bracelets, And His rings, And His signet
in His personally sanctifying me and personally sanctifying
me --- so that I might go in and out as His bride, so that
men might see in me His Glory, even the Glory) of Christ Jesus. (That is being conformed to His image and His
likeness.)
Philippians
3:13 Brethren, I count not myself
to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those
things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things
which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize (The out resurrection from among the dead of the Klesia, and
there enter into the chamber of the full inheritance of Christ
as His bride. The entering into the Holy of Holies to dwell and abide there with
Him.) of the high calling of God (That Christ apprehended
me for when he placed His garment upon me, And His bracelets,
And His rings, And His signet in His personally sanctifying
me and Personally sanctifying me --- so that I might go in
and out as His bride, so that men might see in me His Glory,
even the Glory) in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as (Seek to, earnestly
desire) be perfect
(Perfected -- that they so might walk),
be thus minded: and (If being His betrothed) if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, (Holding still the
doctrines and traditions of men, or treasuring up your own
natural gifts and talents as being acceptable unto the Lord
for the work of the Ek-Klessia.) God
shall reveal even this (These corruptions and pollutions) unto you. (That you might be conformed into Christ’s image and Christ’s
likeness. So that you
too shall attain to the our resurrection
from among the dead of the Klesia and there, be able to enter
the chamber of the Holies of Holies and dwell and abide there
with Him.
Exodus 24:3 --
And all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the
LORD hath said will we do.
