The
Glory That Brings The Spirit of Repentance
Wade E Taylor
Many years ago, during a visitation from the Lord, I received
a specific word concerning my ministry and purpose in life.
This word had to do with “The preparation of a people
for the end-time purposes of the Lord.”
This “word” said that I was to speak a message
about the end-time, and that I was to keep repeating it. Basically,
this is what I have been doing – speaking and writing
a message about the preparation of a people to be equipped
and made ready for the end-times.
How the Lord is going to close out the Church Age and establish
His Millennial Kingdom is not the important thing, as He will
do all this in His own way, when the time comes. The important
thing is for us to “be ready” to enter into our
part with Him in all this, and we have this opportunity today.
I always thank the Lord for the manifestation of His presence,
both to me personally and in the meetings that I have, as
I believe that this is very important. The manifestation of
His presence being released in our midst can be compared to
a magnetic field. When a magnet is placed near iron fillings,
they begin to move into a pattern. So also with us. In His
presence, we move into an alignment with the Lord in which
we can begin to function with Him in the outworking of His
end-time plan and purpose.
As an “effect” of His presence, our whole being,
singularly and corporately, begins to come into an alignment
with the heavenly. We become more aware and sensitive to the
Lord, and to the spiritual realm.
II Corinthians 3:18 tells us that we are changed from “glory
to glory,” not from “repentance to repentance.”
Thus, the manifestation of His presence in our meetings is
of tremendous importance.
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass
the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from
glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
I have been in meetings where the minister said that we should
not be getting blessed, but rather, we should be weeping and
repenting. But this is not possible.(Note:
Wade has always had a great aversion to Alter Calls, preachers
preaching Hellfire and against Sin, and if it is possibleWade
has been even more sensitive about prophecy and prophetic
ministry declaring Sin in a congregation. This Aversion of
his has always been point of disobediance in his personal
life and ministry. The words: repent, repentence, judge, judging
and judgment, are written hundreds of times in the OT and
NT. In the NT these words are spoken frequently by Christ
Himself. And not in any NT passage is The Manifest Presence
of God mentioned in conjuction with men or churches repenting.
One can not lineout or alter the words and commandments of
Jesus Christ regardless of what one's personal comfort levels
may be. --Editor.) If I were to say now, “Let
us all repent,” we could not truly do so. We could say
many religious things, and make promises we could not keep,
but true repentance has to be “given.” This has
happened in the beginnings of all past visitations.
True repentance comes from our being in the “presence
of the Lord.” It takes the manifestation of the presence
of the Lord to release the “Spirit of Repentance.”
As we behold - as in a glass (mirror) the Glory of the Lord,
we see ourselves as we truly are, and only then can we repent.
We first need the glory, so we can repent. As we repent, we
come into an even greater manifestation of glory, and we are
changed further – from “glory to glory.”
As we pray for visitation, we should be praying for a greater
manifestation of the presence of the Lord in our meetings,
which will produce true repentance, and lead us into the visitation
that we desire.
(Note also: The Lord's Prayer
is a prayer of Lack and Repentence similarly the advice to
Christ is as to their Lack and their need for repentence.)
Our Father, (Note here the plurality
in the prayer not my Father but OUR Father -- The our here
is where ever two or three are gathered in My Name. The primary
interpretataion of the two is always the wife and husband.
Go in thy closet in the Greek is bed chamber or bed closet,
and the praying in secret includes praying with your wife
in secret.)
Who art
in Heaven (Why? Originally He dwelled with Adam 24/7
but because of sin and corruption God was driven farther away
from men, and even Israel until He now dwells in heaven.)
Hallowed
be Thy name (Rather than this being where one breaks
into worship and praise -- This is a statement of God's utter
Holiness, His name and Nature are Holy -- and we are not hence
our seperation from God.)
Thy
Kingdom Come (It is not here no matter what men teach
and preach)
Thy
Will be done in earth as it is in heaven (This is a
cry to so hear God's voice hear on earth as it is heard in
heaven and it is a call of repentence from our wicked ways
unto a full and unquestioning obedience to all of the words
and commandments of God and Jesus Christ. -- This is a complete
surrender of our desires will and wants and a taking of His
desires will and wants and making them our own, in our life
in our household, and in our community.)
Give
us this day our daily bread (This is for those who
have made themselves truly His disciples a prayer for our
daily needs, food, clothing, shelter, divine guidance, as
well as our spiritual nourishment, but this provision comes
with a price our our heartfelt true repentence.
As
we forgive those who tresspass against us (The primary
interpretation here of US is always the husband and wife --
and the lack of repentence and forgiveness between the two
will hinder one's prayers -- the hinderence is of receiving
ones daily bread from the Father. God fully expects that you
are seeking to make your household on earth as God's household
is in heaven, and as He sees all your needs you are to likewise
so care and see to the needs of your wife spiritually, and
phyisically and if these are not in order -- God will withhold
from you as you withhold from each other. Paul writes of this
defraud not one another.)
And
lead us not into temptation (This is not a statement
of our control over our lives but a statement that our hearts
being corrupt -- please lead us not into evil lest we fall.)
But
deliver us from evil. (This is not a statement of our
being able to heal and deliver ourselves from all evil by
casting it out -- this is a statement of our being sps, spared
-- from what His just judgment -- as we are repenting and
changing day by day as we pray this and learn of Him.)
For
Thine is the Kingdom (The Kingdom is not mine or ours
no matter what men teach and preach -- it is Thine Alone.
And
the Power (The Power of God is not mine or ours no
matter what men teach and preach -- it is Thine Alone.)
And
the Glory (The Glory of God is not mine or ours no
matter what men teach or preach -- it is Thine Alone
Forever
and ever (It always was, always is and will always
be Yours Alone.
Amen.
(We call the amen here worship and submission to all that
has been prayed here.
The
Lord's prayer is a prayer of our lack, our need and dependence
on Him for everything like the children in the wilderness.
And our daily repentence, daily reaching out, daily forgiveness,
daily making ourselves and our household on earth as it is
in heaven. The Lord's prayer is a cup empty prayer -- whereas
the prayer of our flesh is a cup full prayer.
