Thoughts About the Year 2004

Those who walk through this year in close intimacy with Jesus and receive fresh revelation from Him, will be those who are “marked” by a purity of mind, heart, and motives. These will be clothed with discernment, wisdom, and humility, and armed with the spirit of wisdom and revelation. They will both witness and demonstrate before others, His mature love.

In this year, the “fruits” of His virtue, which have been imparted and established within us, will be seen and affect others more clearly than in past times.

But, in the world, great deception and iniquity will abound. There will be much unrest in the world, but great peace for those who are walking in His love. These, as overcomers, will also have authority and power in the earth realm. There will be an outpouring of the creative Word, beyond that which previously has been seen. There will be demonstrations of the Lord’s power, such as when Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal.

This is a year of great favor and grace, but also a time of accountability, and for increased desire and reverence for His presence. Things that were excused in the past will not be tolerated in this year. There will be serious consequences for those who fail to respond to His presence and forsake His ways.

This year will show forth the beginning conception of the end-time purposes of His heart. For those who walk closely, there will be great triumph and victory. For these are the ones upon whom the light of His glory will rise. In this year, the Lord will begin to display His glory through His people.

Spiritual authority will come upon the “overcomers.” Even the Spirit of might that clothed Samson. Great exploits will be seen everywhere. Many who practice wicked devices will become undone suddenly, for the Lord will come suddenly to His temple, which is His body in the earth – a tabernacle made without hands, as spoken of in Daniel. They will know that the God of Elijah is living and powerful.

Those who walk in His fear will also express His power. There will be great wisdom released to those who receive the Gospel of the Kingdom, but those who do not and continue in their own ways, will be dealt with suddenly, just as in the day of Ananias and Sapphira. They will suddenly die, and many will turn and give glory to the Lord.

We are coming into the season of “The day of the Lord” - a time for holiness and purity - a time for unity to bring restoration to many in His body. For those who are broken, there will be a desperate hunger for the Lord. Many “Mary’s” will shatter their alabaster boxes and pour them out on Jesus.

This is the year of the “breaking of bread,” the manifestation of His presence. He is coming for a Bride without spot or blemish – a Bride clothed in humility, strength, and authority – a Bride who is mature – a Bride who is whole-heartedly devoted to the Lord, consumed with passion for His body, and His heart cry for souls.

This is My Bride in the earth.
