John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

The King Of Glory Shall Come In

Doug Fortune

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting
doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of
glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in
battle.” Psalms 24:7-8.

In looking at highly symbolic passages like this, it is imperative that along with revelation knowledge, we have an acquired knowledge of Biblical symbols and types.

The “head” usually speaks of authority and understanding.

The word translated as “gates” is derived from the word “shaar” in Hebrew, meaning “to open, or act as a gatekeeper.” A gate usually serves as a large entrance, in contrast to a door. For example; the gate to a yard, in contrast to the door of a house.

“Lift up your heads” appears to be a command to actively “do” something, whereas “be ye lift up” is more passive; a command that will cause a “lifting up.” You and I are “gatekeepers” of the Kingdom. We are commissioned to bring men and women from a limited finite life in the natural realm, into the infinite eternal life of the unlimited heavenly realm.

Therefore, we must actively “lift up our heads” - raise our spiritual perception, and
our understanding of the authority that we have, as “gatekeepers.”

“And Saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge
the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the
Lord's.” Obadiah 21.

This perception of who we are, determines, to a large extent, the reality of who we are.

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7a.

As we actively accept our having spiritual authority, then we can be lifted up and function as “everlasting doors.” We are the “gates” of heaven, whereby people are introduced into the expanse of the spiritual realm.

And more; the Father also desires to exalt us as “everlasting (eternal) doors” whereby heaven is brought to bear in the earth. This is intended when we pray the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray,

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in
earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10.

We must understand that we are the vessels through whom the Lord will accomplish this. Notice also that we are being lifted as “doors.” We are to raise our understanding and authority. But He exalts us, we cannot exalt ourselves.

And what is the purpose woven into this visually stunning prophetic picture? It is that “the King of Glory shall come in.” The Lord has declared that “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14).

He also said,

“Arise, shine (lift up your heads) for your light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1.

We are to be a “door,” whereby the Kingdom gains entrance into our home, workplace, etc. The word translated as doors, “pethach” (Hebrew), means to open wide, to break forth. The word translated as “everlasting” is “olam” (Hebrew), meaning time out of mind, eternity.

Also, as we go into our workplace, school, market place, etc, we are to be a “gatekeeper” sent to usher others into the Kingdom.

Jesus came to give us eternal life. The Father is lifting us up into the everlasting resurrection life of Christ - “caught up to God, and to His throne” (Rev. 12:5). Jesus said, “that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am ...” (John 17:24).

We are the “doors,” whereby the eternal purposes of God can break forth upon the earth – a people who are not limited by chromos (natural) time, but are bringing the kairos (appointed) due-time of the eternal, to invade and subdue the chronos, that the “King of Glory shall come in.”

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall
you also appear with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:4.

It is easy to mentally relegate “when” to a future tense. This word (hotay in Greek), really means “whenever.” And the word “shall” is not in the original text. The Literal Bible translates this passage thus,

“Whenever Christ is revealed, the life of you, then
also, you with Him will be revealed in glory.”

There is one place we can definitely look for His appearing. It is in the midst of the seven candlesticks, the Church. This is intended to be a present reality.

“If then we were raised (past tense) together with Christ,
seek the things that are above (present application),
where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your
mind on the things that are above (present application),
not on the things that are upon the earth. For you died
(past tense) and your life is hid (present application) with
Christ in God.” Colossians 3:1-3.

We are the “doors” whereby the eternal King of Glory “comes in.” Whenever Christ is revealed in our lives, He seeks to reveal His nature and glory through us, to bring His Kingdom to bear in our surroundings.

Let us “lift up our heads” in authority, as the Lord “lifts us up” as “doors” through which the King of Glory will “come in.”
