The Desire of the Lord
The heart of our Lord is grieved when He sees those whom
He has redeemed at such a great price, failing to enter into
all that He has made available to them.
There are those who name His Name, but do not show forth
His grace and likeness through their lives. It is not enough
for us to just know the privileges which are ours, for if
we do not enter into them, they are no more ours than as if
we did not see them.
Though we may know the truths of the Kingdom, and be able
to set them forth to others, if these living truths are not
growing and bearing fruit in our lives, they will profit us
nothing.
To truly be our Lord, Jesus must hold the place of honor
and He must have pre eminence in all things. Only when He
is able to rule in every thing, both great and small, within
our life experience, can we truly say that He is our Lord.
