Dear
Friends,
The Banner is the ministry of Pinecrest that touches the
lives of more people on a regular basis than any other ministry
we are engaged in. I know that my father, Wade Taylor, takes
a very special interest in every article that is included,
and is careful to make sure that each issue provides an opportunity
for our readers to be drawn to a closer personal relationship
with our Lord. Dad is especially pleased when people write
or talk with him about how they were blessed or helped by
a particular article. It is often one of the first things
he talks about when we are together.
Because we sincerely believe in the value of the message
of intimacy with Christ, we desire each person on our mailing
list to continue receiving these important devotionals. However,
good stewardship requires us to remove those from the mailing
list that we have not heard from in several years. This is
the only way to be sure that we are mailing The Banner to
people who are benefiting from its message.
There is no charge for The Banner, but we do have a suggested
contribution of $10 per year to help us with the cost of printing
and mailing. Some people give more than the minimum because
they would like to help others receive the message as well.
However, we have never removed anyone from the mailing list
because they have not contributed. All we require is a note
from you at least once per year saying that you are reading
The Banner, and would like to continue receiving it. This
will keep you on our active mailing list.
Of course, we are especially grateful to those who contribute
to the cost of printing and mailing. Without your help, this
publication would not be possible. There is no funding for
the Banner, except from the contributions we receive.
If you have not written to us in the past year, would you
please write today and express your interest in receiving
The Banner? An envelope is enclosed for your convenience.
We pray for our Lord’s blessing on your life as you
continue to grow in fellowship with Him!
Yours in His service,
Ronald L. Taylor,
President
