Dear
Friends,
I continue to marvel as I receive letters concerning the
blessing that the Banner has been to those who receive it.
It is my on-going prayer that the Banner will continue to
be “a present word.”
The importance of the life and ministry of John the Baptist
is being quickened to me as never before. When the angel of
the Lord appeared to Zacharias, he told him that John would
“make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke
1:17b.
When John was asked who he was, he repeated this by saying,
“I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness.”
His life was so yielded to the Lord that not only was the
word of the Lord spoken through him, but the very heart feelings
of the Lord were expressed.
Along with this, the life of Moses is being quickened. Moses
knew he was called and attempted to fulfill that call, but
utterly failed and fled into the wilderness. After all his
ability was drained from him, he stood in the manifest presence
of the Lord at a burning bush, and then brought Israel from
bondage.
Both Moses and John the Baptist were called into the wilderness
to be prepared. Many today are being called apart into a seeming
wilderness to be made ready.
When the Lord spoke to me concerning the ministry that I
would have, the “word” was that I was called “to
prepare a people for the end-time purposes of the Lord.”
Just as John the Baptist was a singular voice that prepared
the way for Jesus, so today, there is a corporate John the
Baptist being made ready to prepare the way for the return
of our Lord.
Along with this, there are those who are being made ready
to stand in the manifest presence of our Lord.
Your interest and support of Pinecrest is vital for the outworking
of this ministry. If you are not sending support to Pinecest,
please prayerfully consider becoming a part of this calling
and ministry.
May this issue of the Banner be a blessing to you, and have
a part in your personally being made ready for the purposes
of our Lord.
IN His Eternal Love,
Wade E Taylor
