John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

The Unveiling of Himself to Us
Harry Finn

Within the veil is the unseen eternal reality of the heavenly world.

"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even
the hidden, which God ordained before the world
unto our glory" I Cor 2:7.

"Revelation" is the uncovering of something veiled, giving light and knowledge to those who behold.

"Now to Him that is of power to stablish you according to
my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according
to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret
since the world began" Rom 16:25.

The participation of the Gentiles in the privileges of the New Covenant was made known by revelation.

"How that by revelation he made known unto me
the mystery ... that the Gentiles should be
fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers
of His promise in Christ by the gospel" Eph 3:3a-6a.

Paul received the Gospel which he preached by revelation.

"For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught
it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ" Gal 1:12.

In this last day and time, the Lord seeks to reveal many things to us concerning the end-time.

"The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us
therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us
put on the armor of light" Rom 13:12.

In 1 Thess 5:1-3, the brethren had not presented themselves in the right manner for the Lord to unveil Himself to them. In verse 4 we find an enlightened people. Paul turned to these and said,

"But you, brethren, are not in darkness that the day
should overtake you as a thief, you are the children
of the light and not of darkness."

In the Greek language, there are three words to show a progression in the development of a son.

"I write unto you, little children" (nepios),

"I write unto you, young men" (teknon).

"I write unto you, fathers" (huios) 1 John 2:13.

Here the Lord is speaking of three realms, or dimensions of spiritual life, which He has inaugurated by a new and living way. He seeks those who have the capacity to receive that which He will make known, as He unveils Himself.

"We who fled for refuge for the purpose of laying hold of
the hope which is set before us, as an anchor of the soul
both stable and steadfast, and which anchor enters into
the place within the veil" Heb 6:9, Wuest Trans.

Notice that there is no place to let down the anchor on this side of the veil. He will reveal Himself to those who seek to go further, and He will bring these into His Kingdom.

"An entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly
into the everlasting Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour,
Jesus Christ" II Peter 1:11.

This entrance into the Kingdom is both gradual and progressive.

"In whom all the building fitly framed together, growth
unto an holy temple in the Lord" Eph 2:21.

There is yet another step in the next verse.

"IN whom you also are builded together for an habitation
of God through the Spirit" Eph 2:22.

This is the only place in the Word that speaks of "habitation" as being the fullness, or perfect state, as a mature permanent dwelling place.

This should be our prayer and desire; that we might come to truly, experientially, know the Lord, that He might come and indwell our lives as a present witness to the world.

Addendum. Harry and Estelle Finn came to Pinecrest 25 years after they received a prophetic word that they would teach in a Bible School in New York State. During the time of their preparation, they pioneered and pastored several churches. They were at Pinecrest from 1970-75 and again in the early 1980s. Harry died in 1982, Estelle in 1996.
