John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Fall 1998
Dear Friends,

Many who are deeply spiritual are saying that very dark days are before us, and that life will not continue as it has been in the past.

However, those who know the Lord are not of the darkness, but are of the light. Just as it is becoming darker in the world, it is becoming brighter in the hearts of those who walk with the Lord.

There is a marked increase in spiritual hunger within many. These are openly searching for further truth, and for a present word from the Lord. Thus, there is an urgency that we become a prophetic people who recognize and rightly respond to the Word of the Lord.

For years, I have prayed that the Banner might have within its pages a "present word" that will guide those who are spiritually hungry to the Lord Himself. Much can be written about the Lord and the Bible, but the intent of the Banner is to have a "word" that will relate to our present need and experience.

Recently, I attended a conference during which many told me that the Secret of the Stairs and the Banner had greatly influenced their spiritual lives. This is stirring me to seek in a greater way, an increase in anointing upon each article in the Banner, and a greater impartation of "Spirit and Life" as it is read.

There are two passages of Scripture that stand out at this time, and should be prayerfully considered. These are Romans 12:1-2 and Rev 4:1-2.

The Banner is sent, not only to be a spiritual blessing to all who receive it, but also to provide an opportunity for you to support the ministry of the Banner and of Pinecrest. At this time, a new supply of paper for printing the Banner must be purchased, which is very expensive, and Pinecrest is urgently in need of an increase in giving that the debt incurred through the installation of natural gas might be paid.

Thank you for being a faithful reader of the Banner, and for your continued support of this ministry.

IN His Love,

Wade E Taylor
