Pinecrest Bible Training Center
1968-2008

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Dear Friends,

The Church is called to come to the "measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" Eph 4:13b. This "measure" means that the Head and the body must become proportionate to each other, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God" Rom 8:19.

Jesus, in totally fulfilling the will of His Father, became a fully matured head. We, the body of Christ, must develop into the maturity of the Head. As we approach the end of the Church age, and the time for the manifestation of the corporate Christ, there is an increasing urgency that each one of us come to spiritual maturity.

This is the vision and calling of Pinecrest, which is being fulfilled through the ministry of the Banner, the Bible School, and Conferences.

A ministry such as this must depend upon gifts that are received through those who receive the Banner. Recently a letter was sent concerning the need for Pinecrest to be free from the burden of past indebtedness, and also to make known the urgent need for an increase in income.

The ministry of Pinecrest is being made available to you with the belief that you are one of those who desire to come to spiritual maturity, and are being spiritually fed through the ministry of the Banner, and of Pinecrest.

I prayerfully trust that you have favorably responded to this letter and have already sent a gift to Pinecrest, and that you will continue to give on a regular basis. If so, thank you, and may our Lord abundantly bless you.

If not, your participation is very much needed, that Pinecrest might continue to fulfill its calling and purpose. Your gift will tremendously help, and will be prayerfully and carefully used in the ministry of bringing the Body of Christ to the completion of the Head in these last days.

I am greatly encouraged by the letters and comments that I receive. Thank you, from my heart, for your part in this ministry.
