John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Winter 1995

Dear Friends,

I look forward to writing this column, as it gives expression to my heart concerning the vision and ministry of Pinecrest to the Body of Christ through the Banner, the Bible School, and the Conference meetings.

When I am asked concerning the "health" of this ministry, I usually reply that spiritually, things are wonderful, for the Lord is marvelously moving and blessing; but financially, we are struggling almost beyond our ability to continue.

This may seem like a contradiction, yet I am absolutely convinced that the Lord is clearly indicating that we most certainly are to continue. This means there must be an increase in our income. Over the years, I have been reluctant to "ask" except at times of dire need, but it has become necessary to more openly make the on-going need known.

I am prayerfully looking to the Lord for increased wisdom and understanding concerning His "intent" for Pinecrest. He will support His program. However, we must do our part. First and above all else, we must both please Him in all we do to fulfill His purpose and calling. I often search my heart to be sure we are moving towards that which He made so real to me in a visitation during October of 1959.

I am encouraged by the pure abiding presence of the Lord and the moving of the Holy Spirit in visitation at Pinecrest. There is a deeper and more intense working of the Lord in the lives of the students and visitors than ever before. Along with this, it is marvelous to read the letters that come concerning the change in lives that is taking place through the ministry of the Banner. All this makes it worth while.

The Lord has spoken to us about a "weekend conference ministry" with a service each Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, and Sunday morning, for those who come on weekends. We will let you know when these special meetings begin.

To those who are presently supporting this ministry with your gifts, thank you from the very depths of my being. And to all others who are being spiritually fed through the ministry of the Banner and of Pinecrest, please consider becoming a supporter.

Your gifts will help make it possible to continue.

Thank you and may our Lord richly bless you.
