1968-2008

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

We are thankful for the increasing presence of the Lord in the Bible School Chapel services, the classes, and the Weekend Conferences that have begun. There is a presence of expectancy and grace among the student body, staff, and visitors, that they might apprehend in greater measure the things of God, and most important, the Lord Himself. We sincerely covet His presence and His accompanying grace.

Some things that the Lord placed within the heart of Pinecrest years ago have begun to come into being. In a recent convention, these were quickened to us through three visions that were shared.

In each of these, a stream of cars were coming into Pinecrest. They drove in the Lane, stopped, picked up a loaf of bread and left. This speaks of short term visitors. Later, a lady missionary came to Pinecrest for a time of rest. The Lord told her to bring a large bag of loaves of bread.

She then said that another person would come and bring meat, and that this would be a sign that the Lord would begin to fulfill this ministry. About two weeks later, a man came with over eight hundred pounds of meat, and donated it to the school. Days later, the Lord moved in the Chapel service at the school in a tremendous way.

We are seeking to make ourselves available for the outworking of this ministry. We have begun having special meetings each Friday and Saturday Evening, along with the Sunday morning service in response to this. When needed, a Saturday morning class will be added. We are encouraging visitors to come to Pinecrest to meet the Lord in the atmosphere of His presence.

The students, along with the staff, faculty, and visiting ministry, are making themselves available for this ministry. There has come an intercessory burden for these meetings, that all the Lord intends will find its full outworking, that the needs of those who come will be met.

We encourage you to prayerfully read each issue of the Banner, and also, if at all possible, to visit Pinecrest. If you know others who would appreciate receiving the Banner, please send their names to the School.

During each year at Pinecrest, five Conferences over special holidays, three special Conferences with specific subjects and speakers that will be announced, a five week summer Vacation Bible School term, and the weekend Conferences are available so you may come "apart" for a time; for rest, refreshing, and your spiritual edification and growth.

Beyond these, prayerfully consider becoming a student at the Bible School. Your prayers, interest, and support are tremendously appreciated.
