Pinecrest Bible Training Center
1968-2008

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Fall 1995
Dear Reader,

A very important change is taking place in the Body of Christ. In the past, most Christians have been content to allow strong personalities to carry the burden of ministry. Presently, this is being changed.

Therefore there is a fresh stirring, in which the spiritually hungry are being moved upon by the Holy Spirit to make them ready for the visitation that is yet to come.

Each article in this Fall issue of the Banner has been prayerfully prepared with this in view, believing that you are among those who desire to partake of all that our Lord is making available to His own in this critical hour.

I have an increasing desire that the Banner be available to more of those who are spiritually hungry, and are seeking "something more." If you know those who fit this description, please send their names and addresses to be added to our mailing list. You are encouraged to send one name, or a long list of names.

Above all, we are dependant upon the Lord. We look to Him, that those who receive the Banner and are blessed through the ministry of Pinecrest, will take an active part in support of the ministry of the Banner, and of Pinecrest.

Thank you from the very depths of my being for your continuing financial help. It really makes a difference.

This new school year at Pinecrest shows every indication of being an outstanding year. Many who desire to attend, or have enrolled with only enough funds for one term, are looking to the Lord to meet their need. Pinecrest has a "scholarship fund" for this purpose. Prayerfully consider giving to this fund, that these may be helped in being able to complete their time in Bible School.

It is my prayerful desire that this issue of the Banner will be a blessing to you, and that it will give direction and purpose to your spiritual journey.

I appreciate each letter I receive. Please be encouraged to share with me your thoughts concerning the Banner, and the ministry of Pinecrest.

May our Lord bless you, as you seek to better know and serve He who is eternally worthy - our Lord Jesus Christ.
