Intervention in the
Ecclesia
Seeley Kinne
Intervention is a suspension of the ordinary laws of approach
to God. It is the interposition of the Divine hand to do things
beyond man's faith. It is the means by which the Lord bridges
over the short-comings and failures of His servants. It is
God in the lead.
This Intervention will be a part of the last-day workings
of the Lord by which He will do exploits, using His servants
as a channel altogether beyond what they could believe for
or accomplish.
It will be a part of, and lead to, the full return of man
to his proper state of pliability in the hands of the Lord,
and to the full elimination of all independent action. It
is the state in which the Lord is the actor and man is acted
upon.
Because the Creator placed within man a high order of powers
of will and gave him title deed to the earth, God will not
intrude upon these rights, even though man completely failed
in his probationary test and as a result, forfeited to the
enemy his dominion authority.
Therefore, by an exceeding wise and benevolent plan, the
Eternal Son became a man who perfectly fulfilled the will
of His Father by bearing the curse upon the cross, fully paying
the debt to justice. He totally defeated the enemy and in
resurrection through intervention, became the Heir of all
things.
The Lord Jesus Christ has waited twenty centuries to give
to the redeemed an opportunity to partake with Him these conveyed
powers, now restored to their proper place. This offer is
made to those who become overcomers. Because these have been
slow in coming into the exercise of spiritual authority, which
relates to their being seated with Him on His Throne, intervention
becomes necessary.
Most teaching on attaining spirituality is based on human
method and means. Therefore, only scattered and partial progress
has resulted. But there are Divine methods that are altogether
successful when they are rightly applied.
These methods call for a determined waiting upon the Lord
and a consistent seeking of Him. Coming forth through these
efforts will be a ministry of illumination, which opens one
to the higher ways of the Lord. The progress made is related
to the effort made in this seeking of God and the resultant
exercise of faith.
But in intervention, the hand of God's power is present to
carry one beyond these ordinary means of spiritual attainment,
and miraculously sets one onward into the things of God.
This is a spiritual state, in which control passes from the
natural into the spiritual, from the initiative of man into
the initiative of the Holy Spirit. It lifts one into the functioning
of the Kingdom of Heaven. Few Christians are aware of, or
are seeking this state of divine function and authority, but
some are approximately near to it.
Now this present age must be closed. The Lord is about to
enter the arena of action through intervention, while still
using human servants.
This intervention will appear when the Lord, through the
exercise of His sovereign power, will arise through a restored
apostolic ministry in His servants and begin to do things
beyond their faith and giftings.
God is bringing a company of overcomers into this experience
of Divine control in preparation for a higher level of intervention.

end,
to him I will give power over the nations, he shall
rule them with a rod of iron" Rev 2:26-27a NKJ.
