Spring 1994

Dear Friends,

I truly rejoice as I listen to comments, and read letters concerning the messages within the Banner. I recognize that this is the result of a special anointing the Lord has given. Whenever I work on an issue of the Banner, I feel the presence and enabling grace of the Lord in an unusual way. I pray that each message will relate to your spiritual need and draw you closer to the Lord. I deeply appreciate your interest and prayers.

The hand of the Lord is upon the Bible School at this time, and much is being accomplished within lives. A Bible School such as Pinecrest cannot maintain itself. Thus, it is urgently necessary that we receive offerings from among those who receive the Banner.

The income received through the Banner has decreased considerably this year. If you are being spiritually fed by the Banner, please prayerfully consider becoming a supporter of this ministry.

The later part of December is always a very difficult time for us, as income almost stops and bills continue to come. During this past Christmas season, we received a large anonymous gift that made a tremendous difference. I pray for the person who sent it. It truly came at a critical time for us.

The spiritual hunger among the students is outstanding. The Lord is blessing our Chapel services and classes. The size of the student body is growing and there are indications it will continue to grow. Also, we are turning away many who desire to attend the conventions, due to a lack of space. We are praying for direction as to what to do concerning this.

The Secret of the Stairs, a teaching on the principles that lead to spiritual maturity, as revealed in the Song of Solomon, has been recently re-edited and improved. I would encourage you to order a copy and prayerfully read this book. It is listed in the add for the Pinecrest Book Store.
