John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Spring 1993

Dear Reader

A verse that has fascinated me for years is beginning to come into clear focus within my being. "And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day," Gen 3:8a. A voice does not "walk," thus, the Lord is telling us something about Himself.

Because true communication requires a response, the Lord seeks intelligent communion with us. Our response is found in our heart love for the Lord, and in the necessary expression of these feelings.

The "heart" of the message within each issue of the Banner is intended to encourage the development of an active, intimate vocal relationship with our Lord. Therefore, the messages within the Banner are subjective in their form, yet are built upon a true interpretation and understanding of the Written Word.

It is my prayerful desire and intention that through reading the Banner, you will be drawn into a closer fellowship and active daily walk with our Lord.

God created the world and all that pertains to it in six days, and rested the seventh day. Peter tells us that a day is as a thousand years. In prophetic time, man is given six days (six thousand years) and the coming Millennial day of the Lord, one day (one thousand years). Presently we are in the year 1993AD, leaving only seven years for the completion of man's time. It is commonly taught that seven years of tribulation precedes the Millennial day. Thus, if this were literal, we would already be in the beginning of this time of tribulation. And indeed, we are very close.

We are living in the last days, and during a time when the world is becoming increasingly antagonistic to the Church. It is becoming essential that we pray before we dare venture from our homes. Tribulation is at hand. It is urgent that we come to know the Lord and His voice as never before.

The Banner is intended to become spiritual food for all who desire to know the Lord and, His voice. We must have clear direction from Him in these critical last days.

It is very important that we hear from you, that the Banner may continue to be available as "A Voice Crying in the Wilderness" of our day. If you know those who would benefit from this message, please send their names to us. Your gift to help cover the costs will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your prayers, and for the financial help that makes the operation of the Bible School, and the printing and distribution of the Banner possible.

In His Love,

Wade E Taylor
