Dear Friends of Pinecrest,
This issue of the Banner is directed towards those who are
experiencing an inner hunger for the Lord, and are being drawn
into a deeper walk with Him.
It is grievous that many Christians do not seem to desire
a deeper spiritual walk in which Jesus has been made Lord.
This is the heart and message of the Banner.
I am presently writing to all those who have received the
Banner for many years but have never responded. I feel grief
when some return their card with unkind remarks. Others kindly
ask to be removed for one reason or another. Thankfully, there
are those who appreciate the Banner and express a desire to
continue receiving it.
Many apologize because they have never given in support of
the Banner; and they enclose a gift to help with its printing
and mailing. A few seem offended that we should ask or even
hint that they should give.
Yet without gifts, on a regular basis, from those who receive
help and inspiration from the Banner, it would be impossible
to continue this ministry.
A letter will soon be mailed to each recipient of the Banner.
An urgent need has arisen relative to the printing equipment
which was purchased in order to print and mail the Banner.
This will be explained in the letter and I am prayerfully
trusting our Lord for a favorable response.
I pray that this issue of the Banner will be a blessing and
encouragement to you and that you will continue its support
with your prayers and gifts.
If you do not wish to receive the Banner, PLEASE let me know.
I will gladly remove your name from the mailing list. If you
appreciate the Banner and know of others who would be pleased
to receive it, please send their names and addresses to me.
If you are able to enclose a gift to help cover this cost,
it will be greatly appreciated.
I personally read each letter received, and respond to all
those which require a reply. Thank you again for your continued
interest and support.
In His Love,
Wade E Taylor
