A Vision of His Purpose
Wade E Taylor
The extent of the redemption wrought by the Lord in our behalf
is beyond our capacity to fully comprehend. In this last day,
the Lord will yet fulfill through His Body, the Church, all
He has determined to do.
Presently, the Lord is separating unto Himself those who
have fully committed their lives to Him and seek Him in earnest.
Within these is a "stirring" which they may or may
not understand. These are being moved upon by the Lord to
step out in (His) faith and enter with Him a realm that is
beyond present (normal?)Christian experience.
"According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation
of
the world, that we should be holy and without blame before
Him
in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure
of
His will .... that in the dispensation of the fullness of
times
he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both
which
are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom
also
we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according
to
the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel
of His
own will ... to the intent that now unto the principalities
and
powers in heavenly places might be known by the Church the
manifold
wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which He purposed
in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access
with
confidence by the faith of Him" Eph 1:4-5,10-11; 3:10-12.
The infilling of the Holy Spirit is intended to accomplish
much more than merely enabling us to move in gifts and ministries,
or to be prepared for a future heaven. As we yield our lives
to Him, the Holy Spirit will activate within us the "FAITH
OF HE WHO REDEEMED US" to bring to pass all that He from
eternity purposed to accomplish through His Church.
The danger is that we will settle for less and eternally
come short of all He intends to do through us. It is important
that we make room for the Holy Spirit to reveal our present
need for preparation in becoming a partaker in these higher
purposes.
As we ask our Lord to create within us an increased spiritual
hunger along with an enlarged spiritual capacity, the Holy
Spirit will equip us for our place in all that He is yet determined
to fulfill through His Body, the Church. As He brings us into
a fresh working of prophetic anointing, we will see first
in vision, and then gradually in experience, the outworking
of this.
"The secret of the Lord is with them that fear (reverence)
Him; and He will shew them His covenant" Psalm 25:14.
The Lord has made an adequate provision for us to enter into
all that He intends and has made available to us. Our part
is in seeking Him to fully receive His provision and then
move with Him, beyond our present limited experience.
