Fall
1992
Dear Friends
This is a personal letter to each one of you who appreciate
receiving the Banner and who pray for, and financially support
this ministry.
I receive several ministry letters from ministries about
whom I know nothing. If I did, I am sure I would have a greater
interest in their ministry.
With this in mind, I will share a few things about myself
and Pinecrest. During 1943 in an Army camp, I made a commitment
to the Lord to go in the ministry if I lived through the war.
I graduated from Bible School in 1959 and was led by the Lord
to Pinecrest, then a Bible Institute operated by the Italian
branch of the Assemblies of God.
While at Pinecrest in the Fall of 1959, I received a very
unusual visitation from the Lord in which I received an impartation
of spiritual truth for the end times. Also, I came to understand
that I would teach this at Pinecrest.
This school closed in the spring of 1962, and the property
was vacant until, in1968, I received permission to open a
school at Pinecrest from the present owner, Pat Robertson.
Later, I was given the deed to the property and the present
ministry of Pinecrest became a reality.
This Fall, we began our 25th year of operation. This issue
of the Banner is the 44th. Some of you have received the Banner
from the beginning. Many have received it for a shorter time
as names are constantly being removed, or added.
It is my prayerful desire that the Banner be
"The Voice of
One Crying in the wilderness" of
our day. The Banner is a "spiritual life"
teaching Journal with a "present word" that is true
to the Written Word, for those who are spiritually hungry
and desire to go beyond their present spiritual experience.
Your interest and financial support of this ministry makes
it possible to continue. Without this support, it would be
impossible to do so. Thus, we are dependent upon the response
of those who receive the Banner.
Thank you for your continued interest an support. I appreciate
each letter that I receive.
In His Eternal Love,
Wade E Taylor
