Pinecrest Bible Training Center
1968-2008

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Summer 1991

Dear Friends,

At this time, 35 years ago, I had sold the TV Cable System I owned, and was preparing to move to a Bible School campus. At that time, I had no perception of the direction my life would take. I began Bible school in the Fall of 1956 and except for four months, I have been in Bible school, in one capacity or another, ever since.

While living in Burlington, NJ for a very short time in 1962, I priced equipment to type-set and print a ministry publication. Looking back, I marvel that this desire was within me, which led to the Banner.

When I graduated from Bible School, my thought was to pioneer a church in Philadelphia. However, the Lord clearly told me to go to Pinecrest and enroll as a student in the school that was there at that time. Then, in the Fall of1959, the Lord caused me to know that I would be the president of Pinecrest.

I have said all that, to say this. The Lord had a purpose in mind when He brought Pinecrest into reality. The result is a Bible Training Center and the Banner. They are intricately connected, and dependent upon each other.

At this present time, I am seeking the Lord as never before, concerning what He had in mind when He "turned me around" while on my way to Philadelphia, and sent me to Pinecrest. I am very concerned that, as a good steward, I am fulfilling all He intended.

Your prayer and financial support are tremendously important. Pinecrest cannot survive without each of these areas of support. The Banner is sent as a spiritual ministry to those who are willing to "minister" to these needs at Pinecrest.

With this in mind, the mailing list of the Banner is being carefully gone over. All those who have not, in some way, supported Pinecrest are being removed from the list. If you have not contacted us within the last year, and desire to continue receiving the Banner, PLEASE let us know.

The financial pressure over Pinecrest has lifted some, yet there is a very urgent need for on-going support that we might be faithful to the vision our Lord gave, when He miraculously brought Pinecrest into being.

I believe I can truly say that Pinecrest is worthy of your trust and support.

May our Lord richly bless you, as you read this issue of the Banner. And, I truly desire to hear from you.

In His Love,

Wade E Taylor
