John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

"Say to them of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not; behold your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert." Isaiah 35:4,5,6.

Among the many things that the Lord is speaking to us in our Chapel services, and in our times of prayer, is to "stir up your remembrance" for there is PURPOSE, REASON, RESULT, and REWARD for persevering in the faith. God is not only encouraging us to go on, but also more than that, to excel and go forward in renewed vision and understanding of the reality of His claim upon our lives.

There is a purpose for each of the trials which the Lord has placed in our lives. There is a reason for pressing "toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" Phil 3:14. We have yet to see the full result. "But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" 1 Cor 2:9. There is a reward for overcoming in the circumstances of our lives in order to go on toward the goal - for there is a goal, though at times it may seem to be dim, or nonexistent. The time will come to pass that the "eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped" and we will discover the truth and power of His Word. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!

We have a small example of this at Pinecrest. Spring is officially here and yet it is snowing. None of the beautiful flowers planted around the campus are blooming, but it is spring. The physical manifestation of Spring is yet to come in its fullness. However, God is gracious in giving us a beautiful reminder - the birds are singing.

As the Lord is saying to us here at Pinecrest, He would also say to you ...There is a reason to keep on washing pots, mopping floor, going to Chapel, spending time in prayer, and studying His Word. Through the everyday activities of our lives, God is at work bringing each one of us into the fullness of His purpose.

He will reward you, causing waters to break out in your wilderness and streams to flow in your desert.
