Spring
1991
Dear Friends of Pinecrest,
About a year ago, a letter was sent to you to make known
the financial pressure that Pinecrest was under. The response
was excellent. Most (but not all) of this pressure was lifted
at that time.
Again, I wish to express my appreciation to each one of you
who gave toward this need. I cannot describe the feeling of
having this intense pressure lifted from me.
In the Fall of 1959 while alone praying (at Pinecrest), I
was brought (spiritually) into the area of the Throne of God
where a specific ministry was literally "burned"
into my being. Along with this, I received a specific "calling"
to train (at Pinecrest) those whom the Lord would send.
The Bible School opened in the Fall of 1968 to fulfill this
calling. A short time later, the first issue of the Banner
was mailed. This ministry has expanded until presently there
are about 85 full time students, and over 18,000 Banners are
sent through-out the world.
I have an intense desire to see the quality and the effectiveness
of this ministry increase. The financial pressure that Pinecrest
remains under adversely affects me, and is a great hindrance
to the outworking of this vision and calling.
A Bible school such as Pinecrest cannot support itself. It
is dependent upon receiving regular contributions from those
who are willing to become a part of its ministry.
All costs are being held to an absolute minimum. Beyond this
there is little that I can do, except to share this burden
with you, and then prayerfully trust you will respond.
There is an urgent need for those who will faithfully and
regularly support the ministry of Pinecrest.
Please consider becoming a part of this ministry. An envelope
is included to help make this possible.
Thank you for responding to this appeal for help. Your support
is truly needed at this time.
In His Love,
Wade E Taylor
