A Need For
Helpers
Charles Haun
God has set "helps" in the Church, I Cor 12:28.
Helpers are seldom aware of their value. Many local assemblies
either rise or fall on the basis of helpers, or the lack of
them.
Thank the Lord for helpers! There are those who faithfully
support Pinecrest by prayer and finances. Many recommend Pinecrest
to potential students. Others send an encouraging word. Men
and women come and voluntarily do physical work on the grounds.
All these helpers do their part to help keep Pinecrest Bible
Training Center afloat.
Pinecrest has gone through some very rough waters from time
to time, yet the Lord has kept her afloat. During its lifetime,
some other Bible schools sank. Why would the Lord seemingly
keep one afloat while letting another sink? Because He does
not work alone, but depends upon those who are called to a
ministry of helps.
Paul was assured by the angel that he would reach Rome.
But the ship had to hold together until they reached land.
Would God keep the ship intact? Yes, with helps. "They
used helps , undergirding the ship," Acts 27:17.
Thank you, all of you who are helpers.
Note from Editor in 2008,
No
more is this true than now as Wade Taylor has been Exiled
from Pincecrest by the current "Powers
That Be" and
have publically proclaimed that they have done so in order
to take Pinecrest in a "New Direction"
a direction other than what God had spoken and commanded Wade
Taylor that Pinecrest was to be.
I
see in this as it were Absolam the son of David, overthrowing
the Kingdom that God had given his father David, sending his
father and those that were the most faithful to him fleeing
for their lives to the otherside of the River Jordan where
they lived in hiding while Absolam wrecked havok upon and defiling all
that remained of the household of David. Seeking to forever
blot the name out of David and in its place raise up the name
Absalom.
This
is a day and hour for much prayer concerning the burden of
the Lord concerning Pinecrest and to rally around those who
seek to hold the vision that the Lord so graciously gave unto
Wade Taylor in late 1959.
At this time Wade has pulled back from
all public ministry and is waiting on the Lord for something
new and fresh -- and for the Lord to return from having been
taken into captivity Pinecrest. Wade Taylor is hoping that
he will live to see its return and its fully entering into
the purposes that God had orginally intended.
Pray in patience and interceed that
God's will concerning Pinecrest be done. And
uphold Wade Taylor and strengthen him, even to his seeing
of Isaac coming forth. He is 83 at the time of this writing.
