Pinecrest Bible Training Center
1968-2008

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Summer 1990

Dear Friends,

The word "Pinecrest" represents several different areas of ministry. It speaks of a place that is available to those who desire to come apart for a time of preparation; a house of prayer for those who need a place to seek the Lord; a place where the Spirit of the Lord rests for those who desire to sit under anointed teaching for short periods of time; and a School of the Spirit, a ministry to those who seek a deeper insight into the Word of God.

The outworking of these ministries necessitates having buildings, staff, supplies, and equipment. All this is very expensive to maintain. The need is beyond the income that comes from monies received through the every day operation of Pinecrest.

Many come to Pinecrest and feel this burden and, on a regular basis, are supporting Pinecrest, helping to make up the shortage. Also, there is an increasing number among those who receive the Banner that are sending support towards printing and mailing the Banner. This lifts the burden for support of the Banner from the other ministries of Pinecrest. There is an urgent need for more to feel this burden and become a part of this ministry.

The letter that you recently received was sent to you because the financial pressure has increased beyond any possible means of being satisfied through the regular income of Pinecrest. Your response to this need has been most encouraging.

I personally thank each one of you who have returned the offering envelope with your gift to this ministry. Thank you, from the very depths of my being.

Also, I encourage those of you who have not returned your envelope with a gift to prayerfully consider doing so. Without your help, we will come short inbeing able to lift the present financial pressure from the ministry of Pinecrest.

I am sorry that we were not able to send the Spring issue of the Banner. The funds to do so were not available. This issue of the Banner is designated as the Spring-Summer issue, so there will not be a gap.

I am trusting the Lord that it will be possible to send an enlarged issue of the Banner within each of the four seasons of the year. I am greatly encouraged by the many comments I receive concerning the quality and anointing that is upon the Banner. This is an answer to my on-going prayer that the Banner will be blessed by the Lord. I am very conscious of His enabling graceand anointing as each issue is prepared.

The expense of printing and mailing the Banner is far more than most realize. Thank you for your part in making a continuation of this ministry possible.

May our Lord richly bless you, and cause you to come into all that He has purposed for you.

In His love,

Wade E.Taylor
