John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Spring 1988
 Dear Banner Family,

A very important change is taking place within the Body of Christ. In the past, many born-again Christians have been content to allow strong personalities to carry the burden of ministry, and have supported these ministries.

Presently, this is being changed. The Lord is placing the responsibility for ministry back within the local Church where it has always belonged. Therefore, there is a fresh and powerful working of the Holy Spirit at the local Church level. Those who have been holding back in ministry because they felt that they were lacking in "ability," or in "charisma" are being quickened by the Holy Spirit with a fresh anointing. These are being equipped to minister to all who are spiritually needy, but at the present time are very confused.

Since the beginning of 1988 there has been a marked increase in the visitation of the Lord to His people. This is to prepare them for ministry in the coming day of the Lord. He is calling those within His Body who have an intense burden, but felt incapable, to begin to seek Him for His answer to the present problems within His Church. That which has failed to be accomplished through the popular mega-preachers will now be done through these servants who are willing to be of "no reputation."

The Lord has allowed the present failures that we are witnessing to take place, that the responsibility of ministry might be re-channeled to the local Church where it should have been all along.

The message within the Banner is directed to all who desire to see a true Witness established in the earth through dedicated Christians within the local Church. Pinecrest needs your prayer and financial support that this message may continue to go forth through the Banner and thought the students, who are being trained in the Bible School to truly know the Lord, that quality ministry will be available to minister within local Churches.
