John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Dear Reader,

Spiritual hunger is the basic ingredient of our spiritual life. Without it we would soon fade into a complacent rest of lethargy and doubt.

God, in His infinite wisdom created within man a strong hunger drive. This "pain" of hunger is present that mankind might be preserved. It is the basic drive of our natural lives.

Many of the problems and frustrations that are being experienced within the Body of Christ at this time can be traced to a lack of spiritual hunger within the individual members of the Body of Christ. It can be said that God creates hunger while Ministry feeds this created hunger.

Thus, our most urgent need at this time is to seek the Lord for an increase of spiritual hunger. Such would transform our lives as we begin to seek out the Lord with a greater zeal than we seek out a better restaurant.

There is no formulae as to how to attain this spiritual hunger. A baby is born hungry. It is a part of its creation within the womb. So, spiritual hunger is a creation of God. We must come to the Lord Himself and wait before Him seeking to have our spiritual capacity enlarged.

I pray that each issue of the Banner will cause each one of you to desire a greater capacity for spiritual things. In the natural, when hungry, the "smell" of food stirs exceedingly our desire for food. I trust that the "smell" of the anointing upon this issue of the Banner will greatly stir your desire for a greater spiritual experience with our Lord.

Your interest, prayers, and letters mean much to me. Thank you for writing and sharing in the expense of sending the Banner to a spiritually hungry people.
In His Eternal Love
