Dear Banner Family

First, I want to thank all of you who responded to my letter, asking for your help to bring the Banner and the Bible School to a place of being free from an ongoing intense financial pressure.

If you have not yet sent your love gift to help in this, would you prayerfully consider doing so? Your help is very much needed at this critical time.

Pinecrest has passed its 18th birthday, and as such is "growing up". I am doing much heart searching and seeking of the Lord, to be sure that we are "growing" according to the pattern that the Lord had so wonderfully given to me back in 1959.

I feel a very real sense of stewardship and responsibility to be true to this vision and calling. The Lord again and again confirms this calling to me, thus, I both desire and need your prayer support and interest in this ministry.

Pinecrest is called to both teach, and to express the need for a prepared people who will be "available to the Lord" for His purposes in this last day.

John the Baptist was one who had been prepared, and was "available" to the Lord in the transition that closed out the old covenant, and brought Jesus forth to provide redemption, and to proclaim the establishing of His Kingdom on earth. A prepared people, such as He are needed in this day.

The Bible School and the Banner are both dedicated to this calling and ministry. I sincerely ask your prayer and financial support in making the outworking of this calling possible.

Again, I pray and trust that this Banner will be an encouragement and help to you in your spiritual walk. I would very much like to hear your comments and expression concerning the Banner, and this ministry at Pinecrest.
