Dear Reader

The barrenness of Winter giving way to the freshness and beauty of Spring is an experience that we never tire of. The surge of beauty in the Spring imparts to us new hope after a long and cold Winter.

In many ways, the Lord's people are spiritually living in a time of winter. However, there are many indications of a coming Spiritual Spring. My prayer is that we might be ready for it, when it begins to blossom forth.

The Banner is a journal expressing principles of Spiritual Growth, and seeking to stir many into actively entering the path that leads to Spiritual life and maturity. In Hosea, the Lord laments, "My people are destroyed for the lack o f knowledge" Hosea 4:6a. My desire is that the Banner may help to remedy this.

I have been under intense pressure, financially, concerning the operation of the Bible School and in printing and mailing the Banner. Needless to say, all ministry requires financial backing.

Two letters were sent out asking for help in this very critical time. The responses were encouraging, and most all of the pressure has been lifted. All of the funds that came in were used to pay past debts, and to meet some of the critical needs. I extend my grateful thanks to each one of you who gave towards meeting these needs.

There yet remains an urgent need. If the vision and ministry, that the Lord has wonderfully given is to find its fulfillment, there must come an increase in monthly support of this ministry.

If you feel the Banner, and training lives for ministry is of eternal value and if you are blessed in receiving the Banner, would you prayerfully consider becoming a part in the regular support of this ministry?
