Training Leaders in India
at the Good Samaritan Institute
New Delhi, India
We were one in spirit with the late Glady Raj, founder of
the Good Samaritan Institute, and with his vision for the
training of leaders for ministry in India. The Institute,
and this vision, continues under the able leadership of Joy
Thomas, whose article appears in this Banner.
We want to share with you, a recent report we received from
Brother Joy Thomas, concerning the Lord's work in India, for
your thanksgiving and for your prayers.
Leaders from several States gathered recently in New Delhi
for a Leaders Conference. Bro Joy reports how "we sought
the Lord in prayer, to meet with us in a fresh, new way: and
He was faithful to answer us". The Word of the Lord challenged
us to come up into a higher realm in Him. There was an impartation
of vision and multiplication of ministry as our Lord sovereignty
moved among us...these were glorious days in our lives!"
The Good Samaritan Institute is a local church with a vision
for the developing of mature Christian leadership with revelation
of God's purposes for His Church today. An 18 month Leadership
Training Course is offered, with the aim of producing "a
Christ-likeness of character in preparation for ministry.
"The work was founded by the late Glady Raj, and continues
under the able leadership of Joy Thomas.
The Good Samaritan Fellowship, though spiritually rich,
has an ongoing financial need in order to continue the Bible
School. Brother Joy Thomas is not one to make known their
needs, and only did so at this time most reluctantly.
We urge our readers to support this worthy ministry with
prayers and contributions. Any contributions for this ministry
can be sent to PINECREST, and indicate it is for the Good
Samaritan Institute in India. All gifts for this ministry
will be sent in full to them in India.
