Summer
1986
Dear Reader,
In anticipation of a harvest, the soil is turned and carefully
prepared, then seed is sown within the soil. Then, summer
brings into full manifestation the potential that was within
each seed that had been committed to the soil in hope.
The quality of the harvest of all this is greatly affected
by the amount of "Son" (Jesus) and "Rain"
(Holy Spirit) that has fallen on this garden. In a similar
way, our Heavenly Father patiently waits for the maturing
of His Body hat harvest may come.
As summer brings forth the best in our gardens, so may this
Summer issue of the Banner edify and impart much "Son"
and "Rain" into your spiritual garden, that much
fruit may be found in your lives.
We at Pinecrest greatly desire that there be an open heaven
over us, that the "Son" and the "Rain"
might also fall upon us and bring many into a maturity of
Spiritual life and ministry. The "harvest" of Pinecrest
is lives that have been prepared for His purposes and then
sent forth to feed others.
I deeply appreciate your prayers and interest in the Banner
and for the ministry of Pinecrest in training lives for His
purposes. Your prayer and financial help are needed. Many
are sending something monthly for support of the Banner and
the Bible School. Prayerfully consider becoming a part of
this ministry.
I very much appreciate hearing from all that write. I encourage
you to write to me, with any questions or suggestions that
you might have. I prayerfully ask the Lord that each issue
of the Banner will be anointed and a blessing to you.
Please pray with me for the Lord's provision in sending
a full enrollment to the Bible School this fall to be prepared
for His purposes.
May our Lord richly bless you as you read this Summer issue
of the Banner and may it impart spiritual life and encouragement
to you.
