Pinecrest Bible Training Center
1968-2008

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone.

Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.-

We now wait for God to raise up and bring forth His seed of promise in another, that the vision fail not.

Fall 1986
A Personal Open Letter To You.

Pinecrest is a School of the Holy Spirit, brought into being by our Lord eighteen years ago, that there might be a place and an atmosphere in which those whom the Lord would send, could hear the Word of the Lord, learn to know His voice and begin to walk with Him.

The reality of this specific calling, and a very clear present indication from the Lord that this ministry is to continue, burdens me to write this letter to you, in the beginning of this new school year.

Some time ago, for the first time in our existence, an appeal for financial help was sent out in a letter, mailed to the Banner family. We praise the Lord for the very encouraging response. However, it was not enough to meet the critical need we face at this time.

As we begin this new school year with an outstanding group of students, we are still faced with a large backlog of current bills, which we are unable to pay through the operation of Pinecrest.

I have carefully and prayerfully sought the Lord concerning this debt and clearly feel that I have both the mind and blessing of the Lord to write this open letter in the Banner, and then mail a direct appeal for help to you, that this burden might be lifted from Pinecrest.

Our Lord is greatly blessing and anointing the Banner, and the Bible School at this Time. There is a great challenge before us. Many lives have been, and are yet being prepared for His purposes at Pinecrest.

A letter will follow this issue of the Banner, please watch for it, and then prayerfully read it, and consider sending a love gift to help lift this burden from Pinecrest.

Thank you for your kind consideration of this request. I believe the Lord has an unfulfilled purpose for Pinecrest, and it is urgent that these pressures be lifted from the school that we may continue to fulfill this calling.

In His Eternal Love,

Wade E Taylor
