Dear Reader
The wilderness is easier to write about than to go through.
Yet, if we are to travel the distance between the “hold”
the world system (Egypt) has on us and the place of promise,
(Canaan), we must traverse the wilderness in our life experience.
There is no way around it.
Jesus, in a state of “blessing” was led by the
Spirit into the wilderness. He came out in the “power”
of the Spirit and His ministry began.
Moses fled into the wilderness after defending his brethren
from the Egyptian. As he moved toward the mountain of God,
he saw a bush burning with fire that was not consumed. He
then said, “I WILL NOW TURN ASIDE to see this.”
Here is the primary key to the vision and ministry of Pinecrest.
Moses turned aside, “AND WHEN THE LORD SAW HE TURNED
ASIDE,” He spoke to him from the bush.
Pinecrest is called to be a “wilderness,” a place
between where we were and where we should be. The heart of
Pinecrest is to produce in a people a sensitivity to His manifest
presence (burning bush) and a willingness to turn aside and
spend time in His presence.
Your prayer and financial support is necessary that this
ministry may continue to produce a people sensitive to this
walk. Please consider having a part in this ministry by sending
your contribution on a regular basis. This is the only way
we can continue.
Perhaps you too should turn aside at Pinecrest for a season.
