Compel Them to Come In
Bobbi Adkins
Pinecrest Staff
The Easter convention just ended was without doubt one of
the best in the sense of God speaking and us hearing and responding
to Him. The Lord spoke and said, “It is His love and
His desires for us which is compelling Him to knock and knock
and knock on the door until we open unto Him so that He can
come in and sup with us and we with Him.” He said the
hour is later than we think.
How tremendous and what a blessing to experience God’s
people actually hearing Him and responding to that which was
being heard.
One great blessing to us here at Pinecrest was the people
who came for the convention and how we seemed to just blend
together as one with one single desire: HIM. A group of 31
from Adrian, Michigan came for the four days and were a blessing
as well as receiving a blessing.
We are still being blessed by this experience of something
new that God seemed to do with them and us. They came and
all of us entered into the same beautiful flow of the Spirit
that we have been experiencing since November when God began
moving here at Pinecrest in a greater way than ever before.
For the convention with lots of new people and the majority
of the students away, one would expect there to be a difference
in the liberty and flow of the Spirit, but instead, God continued
right on as though we had always been together, and we believe
there was even an increasing in the spirit of purity and clarity
of understanding.
God is knocking in this hour and desires so much that we
hear His voice and open our lives to Him that He might enter
in and do that greater work of truth in a greater depth within
us than we have known heretofore. His voice is going forth
compelling us to come to Him in Spirit and in Truth.
